Peyton had his first Thanksgiving feast and program this year. I was a very eager mother to see what songs he had been learning. Needless to say I don't think I will ever have to worry about him running off to be a singer/song writer or even an actor any time soon! I have learned that he takes after the Hunter side and a little bit of GG and is really on no time schedule! He takes his leisurly time everywhere he goes and what ever he does and I am pretty sure he does not understand the meaning of HURRY!

November
November was an exciting month for the Beck Family! I finally finished my cookbook that I had been working on for almost 2 years. I took all of my grandmothers, my mom's, Bryan's grandmothers, his mom's and some of my own reciepes and put all 300 of them into a cookbook. I originally thought that I would donate a portion of the proceeds to Breast Cancer since Bryan's mom has had Breast Cancer. But when Bailey Jack was born I decided dedicate the book towards him and the proceeds would go towards Down Syndrome. I am now trying to build a Boundless Playground with some of my proceeds here in our home town. If you are wondering what a Boundless Playground is, it is a playground for EveryBODY! That means that it is handicapped accessible. So, the little girl or boy in a wheelchair sitting on the side wondering why he or she can't play with thier bother or sister can now slide, swing, play in the sand and seek higher ground! My website for the cookbook is http://www.butterfliesandbuttercups.com/
Buddy Walk
Bailey Jack raised almost $4,000 before the buddy walk this past year and came in second place! Thank you to all who donated to support him and Down Syndrome Awareness. Peyton always loves the buddy wallk! Number 1 because
his cousin Makayla comes with us and #2 because of the Awesome slides they have for the kids. Next year I am sure that Bailey Jack will be headed down those slides with his big brother!

October
Peyton's Class took a trip to the Townsend house to pick a pumpkin of their own to decorate. The Townsend house supports DART every October by having the pumpkin patch there and theproceeds of the pumpkins are donated to DART. Bryan and I attended a little Halloween Party where I was Tinkerbell and Bryan was Peter Pan. On Halloween night Peyton dressed up as Batman and Bailey Jack was Robin. We went to the Church Halloween celebration and then to a friends house for trick or treating. Peyton really got into the trick or treating and when he would leave a house he used his good manners and said "Thank You"! Bailey Jack headed home
after the Church Carnival with GG and Pops. I think he was very thankful to be in his bed and not out on a cold hay ride!

Bailey Jack's First Birthday!
Bailey Jack turned one on September 5, 2009. We celebrated at the lake with family and a few close friends. He dove into his cake and in a matter of seconds he was covered in blue icing. Needless to say we hit the bathtub as soon as we were done!
